Key Responsibilities
Credit Control & Account Management - Monitor, manage and follow up on outstanding member and group accounts.
- Resolve complex account discrepancies, billing issues and payment allocations.
- Process contribution raisings, adjustments, reversals and refunds accurately.
- Prepare and submit overdue account reports, bad debt provisions and write-off recommendations.
- Action daily deadlines, workflow instructions and business initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records, audit trails and collection activities.
- Provide technical support to stakeholders on contributions, rules and account queries.
- Support operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the division.
Risk Management & Compliance - Apply fraud control, governance and risk-prevention principles to all credit control activities.
- Ensure compliance with Scheme rules, policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Support internal and external audit requirements with precise documentation.
- Maintain ISO-aligned quality risk management standards.
- Enforce SLA adherence to support business continuity and service reliability.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members, brokers, employers and internal teams.
- Provide clear, accurate and professional communication on account matters.
- Support cross-functional integration to improve overall service and collection performance.
EXPERIENCE | QUALIFICATION |
- 5 Years Medical Scheme Industry
- 5 Years of relevant Credit Control experience within a Medical Scheme / Administrator
- Nexus system experience (Advantage)

- National Diploma or equivalent qualification in relevant field such as finance, credit management, accounting, or related discipline (NQF Level 6)
