PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Accountable for the development and enhancement of the relevant vendor providers and/or bespoke trading systems in line with the business requirements across the Scheme by sustaining and maintaining business as usual requirements as well as delivering on key projects in response to changing business needs in the medical scheme environment. 

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

 

  • Responsible to provide support to internal and external parties on all queries logged and follow documented processes, to resolve the problem end to end.           
  • Develop and design relevant Business requirement documents (non-project related) when changes or enhancements are required. Follow through with UAT and post implementation.
  • Provide primary BTB support for all business areas and be the users’ liaison with the rest of technology when required by acting as the primary interface with the Scheme and System Host.        
  • Responsible for monitoring interfaces with all Scheme third parties’ providers as allocated.   
  • Participate in architecture, development, support of sophisticated products and processes and decision support systems in conjunction with business users.        
  • Collaborate with the third-party provider and system provider during network and system change and help address the issues as they arise during change into live production environments in addition to the support provided under the standard process.        
  • Participate in the entire development cycle (analysis, design, prototyping, construction, testing, training and deployment) to ensure user satisfaction is maximized.             
  • Analysis and design Business requirement documents related to system changes.    
  • Adhere to system and procedure controls to ensure the Scheme is compliant.          
  • Adhere the departments SOP.
  • Seek to identify client needs and expectations, respond to identified concerns promptly, professionally and fairly, and improve business and management processes based on customer and employee feedback.          
  • Ensure learning and development department is aware of the enhancements or changes to ensure relevant department is trained or notified of the changes. 
  • Comply with the Scheme complaints management process.
     

EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATION

  • 5 Years experience in related role
     
  • Relevant certificate/diploma in business management
